This is a FOREST
This is a FOREST was a contemporary art exhibition which took place in October - November. Through art, sculpture, film and data, it explored what might be possible if we work with - rather than against - nature; it exposed systems and structures that prevent ecosystems from thriving.
Alongside the exhibition, a schools programme was delivered, Under Our Feet, a major outdoor learning project for schools, where schools found their own piece of land to nurture.

This is a FOREST was co-produced by LEEDS 2023 and Invisible Flock, a multi-award-winning interactive arts studio, based at Yorkshire Sculpture Park. For this project they invited artists Anushka Athique, Vandria Borari, Nwando Ebizie, Outi Pieski and Jenni Laiti to collaborate on the exhibition.
